Elsie Hannah, 85, of Little Rock, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She was born on January 16, 1925 in Hillman, Arkansas to the late Daniel and Beulah Fowler Rouse. She is preceded in death by a son, Hank Hannah and a granddaughter, Danita Rodden. Elsie was a homemaker most of her life and a charter member of Edgewood Missionary Baptist Church in the Sardis community, where she taught Sunday school and Bible school. She loved to travel, read and cook.
She is survived by her sons, Maynard Hannah and his wife Jan, Bill Hannah and his wife Mary Beth and Peter Hannah and his wife Penny; a daughter, Barbara Buchanan and husband Verne; a sister-in-law, Bethel Milks; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and special friends, Judy Uptigrove and Charlene Boykin.
A funeral service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Davey McCool officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
