Jefferson Lee "Jeff" Mathis, age 32, of Alexander, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He was born June 15, 1978, in San Luis Obispo, California. Jefferson graduated from Joe T. Robinson High School and was attending the University of Phoenix. He was fun-loving prankster who kept life interesting for those around him and liked making people happy. His loved spending time with his family, especially his children, and going hunting with his Mom and Dad. A loving husband, father, son and brother, he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Ginger Mathis; three children, Megan Stacie Mathis (age 10), Jefferson Lee Mathis, Jr. (age 9) and Deborah Jean Mathis (age 6); mother and father, Deborah Lee and Leon Mathis; one sister, Kimberlee Joyce Etzberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2010, at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander (501-455-1067). Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Crystal Hill Baptist Church, 18823 Crystal Valley Road, Little Rock, Ark.
