BETTY THOMAS LUTEN, 86, of Little Rock passed away Nov. 20, 2010. She was born April 19, 1924 in Memphis, Tenn., to the late Virgil Carlton Thomas and Bess Evans Thomas. Mrs. Luten was a member of First United Methodist Church of Little Rock where she was active in the Altar Guild. She was a member/volunteer with the Easter Seals, a member of the Dental Auxiliary, as well as a member of the Leawood Garden Club, the Kappa Delta Sorority and the Rug Group where she made wool rugs. She is survived by her daughter, Betsy Luten of Little Rock, Ark., sons, J.R. "Randy" Luten and wife Diana Corbit of Little Rock, Ark., and Tom Luten and his wife Tonya of Jacksonville, Ark., grandchildren, Catherine Ann Kemp, Andrew Luten and Suzanne Luten. Visitation will be 6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 22, 2010 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock, Ark., 501-661-9111.
