Mary Caroline Smith

Mary Caroline Smith, age 71, of Cabot, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2010 in North Little Rock. She was born July 3, 1939 in Drew County, Arkansas to the late James and Lela Tubbs Haley. Mary is also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Reynolds. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Smith of Cabot; sons, Wayne Smith, Jr. and wife, Leonora of Cabot, Michael Lee Smith of Texas, and Scott Allen Smith of Cabot; daughters, Sandra Jean Smith of California, and Kimberly Grace Smith of Great Missenden, England; sisters, Sue Murphree and husband, Doyle of Little Rock, Jean Loetcher and husband, O'Neal of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, and brother, James Haley and wife, Brenda of Ward, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, William, Jodi, Casey, Trey, Charles, James Michael, Sam, Holland, Michael Dean and Charlotte; and three great-grandchildren, Jaxon, Avery and Jayde. Funeral services will be 12 noon, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Rev. Cliff Hutchins and Rev. Marvin Reynolds officiating.
