James Taylor Barbre

James Taylor Barbre of Grapevine, Arkansas was born February 9, 1955 at Pine Bluff, the son of the late James H. and Mae Taylor Barbre. He was a member, and former Sunday School teacher, at Pine Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and was employed at Kohler in Sheridan. Taylor was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gemology, computers, and motorcycles. He had a giving heart and donated his hair to the "Locks of Love" foundation which provides hairpieces for young people who have lost their hair due to illness. Mr. Barbre died, Tuesday, November 23, 2010, near Grapevine, Arkansas as the result of an automobile accident, at the age of 55. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Kelley Barbre of the home; sons, Jeremy and Drew Barbre, both of Bryant; sister, Amy Barbre Wallace of South Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Taylor is also survived by his contant "shadow", Ellie his dog. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, November 26, 2010 at Davis Cemetery in the Lazy Bend Community, near Grapevine. Visitation will be Thursday, 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
