CLEO MIXON (Big 6), 76, transitioned from earth to glory on Nov. 18, 2010. He was born to the late Henry and Queen Esther Mixon in Sutton, Ark. He was a member of Gaines Street Missionary Baptist Church and also a member of the Dunbar Class of 1955. He served 21 years in the United States Navy. Leaving to mourn his passing and cherish his memories: dear and loving cousins, Clifford (Ann) Morgan and Lavada Pearson of Little Rock, Ark.; and a host of relatives and friends. Service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010, 10 a.m., at Gaines St. Baptist Church, 1601 South Gaines St., Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow with honors at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave., North Little Rock. Viewing will be Tuesday, 10-11 a.m., prior to service, at the church.
