Ray Blann Duncan

Hampton, AR, 1926 - 2010

Ray Blann Duncan, 84, of Hampton died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born May 11, 1926 at Harrell, he was a son of the late Doyle B. Duncan and Edna Jewel Blann Duncan. He was a boiler operator for F-S Pre-Stress and an Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Duncan and a son, Dainy Ray Duncan. He is survived by a son, Marty Duncan and his wife Connie of Harrell; daughter Peggy Baggenstoss and husband Jim of Fordyce; four brothers, Lucian Duncan of Hampton, Paul Duncan of Hampton, Harold Duncan of Hampton, Billy Max Duncan of Kilgore, Texas; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Perez of the U.S. Army, Monica Pitts of Tinsman, Matthew Duncan of Harrell, Timothy Duncan of Harrell, Chris Duncan of Monticello; six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Victory Baptist Church at Hampton with Rev. Garland Skidmore and Rev. Robbie Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Pickett Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton.
