David D. Davis

David D. Davis, 47, of Little Rock, died November 23, 2010 at home. He was born October 28, 1963 to the late Richard and Bernice Patillo Davis. He attended Little Rock Public Schools and graduated from Parkview High. He was employed with Montgomery Wards for 19 years as a sales associate and Sami's Mens Fashion. David later became a Funeral Director working for Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home and at the time of his death he was employed with Robinson Mortuary of Little Rock. David was a long time member of Gaines Street Baptist Church where he served as an Usher. He leaves to mourn, his daughter Shannon Davis, and son Darrien Brown; three sisters, Betty Moore, Clovie Davis and Doris Ferguson; four brothers Nathaniel, Jimmy, Jefferson Davis and Gregory McFadden; four grandchildren, Darius, Victoria, Corey and Kelis and a two very special cousins, LouEthel Nauden, and Constance Brown. The family would also like to acknowledge Melanie Elliott, Deborah Donahue, Jocelyn Dokes and Nedra Bush all very special individuals in David's transition. A private viewing followed by graveside services were held Friday, November 26 at Piney Grove Cemetery in Arkadelphia, Ark. Arrangements was entrusted to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services of Hot Springs, Ark.
