Dorothy Louise Elkins Clark, age 84, of North Little Rock, Ark., peacefully went to her home in heaven on Friday, November 26. She was born November 23, 1926 to John and Marie Elkins. She was an active member of Gardner United Methodist Church and the Crusaders Bible Class. She cherished the time she spent as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Elkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James (Jim) Clark; children, Ron of Sherwood, Steve (Barbra) of Springdale, and Melissa Barber (David) of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one sister, Jean Johnston, of California and two special sisters-in-law Mary Beth Stage, of Conway and Esther Crawford, of NLR. The home going celebration will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 29. at Gardner United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, November 28 at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515. Honorary Pallbearers are Crusaders Bible Class. Memorials may be made to Gardner United Methodist Church or Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Rd., Suite 2000, LR 72210.
