DOROTHY LOUISE ELKINS CLARK, age 84, of North Little Rock, Ark., peacefully went to her home in heaven on Friday, Nov. 26. She was born Nov. 23, 1926, to John and Marie Elkins. She was an active member of Gardner United Methodist Church and the Crusaders Bible Class. She cherished the time she spent as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Elkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, James (Jim) Clark; children, Ron of Sherwood, Steve (Barbra) of Springdale and Melissa Barber (David) of North Little Rock; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Johnston of California; and two special sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Stage of Conway and Esther Crawford of North Little Rock. The homegoing celebration will be 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 29, at Gardner United Methodist Church, 1723 Schaer Street, North Little Rock. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28 at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, (501)835-3515. Honorary Pallbearers are Crusaders Bible Class. Memorials may be made to Gardner United Methodist Church or Baptist Hospice, 11900 Colonel Glenn Rd. St 2000, Little Rock 72210.
