Betty Lou Boyd, 76, was born on February 23, 1934 in Booneville, Ark. she passed from this life on November 26, 2010, in Bryant. Mrs. Boyd is survived by her children; three sons, Brady Watson and wife Jay of Grand Prairie, Texas, Ken Watson of Mississippi, and Jimmy Cates and wife Angie of Benton; two daughters, Pam Davis and spouse Cliff of Mabelvale and Sheri Henry and spouse David of Sherwood; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as many other family members and a host of friends. Betty was a homemaker for most of her adult life and was of the Baptist faith, she was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Boyd is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James Boyd and Jimmy Lee Cates; and one son, Raymond Brian Cates. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander with Rev. Bobby Goodknight officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Peaceful Haven Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas.
