Bradley Scott Smith

Bradley Scott Smith, 19, of Monticello passed away Sunday, November 28 in Monticello. Born April 10, 1991 in Pine Bluff, he was the son of Martie Smith and Bo Carrington. Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents Al Smith, Rebecca Lynne ‘Ma Bec' McQuaique Smith, Iva Jean Carrington and Herschel Carrington. Brad was a 2009 graduate of Monticello High School, a member of the Monticello Billie football team and a member of the Forensics team. He was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, in Rye. Brad was a former employee of Hood Packaging Company, Sonic Drive In, Pepsi Americas, and Save A Lot. He also attended SAU in Magnolia, Ark. Brad was an avid reader, loved music and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his loving mother Martie Smith-Taylor and step-father Joe Taylor of Monticello; his father Bo Carrington of Benton, Ark.; one brother Nick Smith of Monticello; one step-sister Candice Barnard (Joseph) of McGehee, Ark.; two aunts Montie Shults (David) of Sulphur Springs, Ark. and Shawn Harris of Woodlawn, Ark.; his grandfather Buddy Reaves of New Edinburg, AR; one niece Callie Jo Barnard, one nephew Taylor Barnard both of McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel, with burial in Oakland Cemetery.
