Samuel P. Mooney

Samuel P. Mooney, 93, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died November 27, 2010 at the Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Born January 18, 1917, in Sweet Home, Arkansas, he was the son of O.E. Mooney and Effie Mooney. Samuel has lived in the Siloam Springs community for the past 10 years. He was an Army Veteran of WW2 and worked as a millwright for the Alcoa Company in Benton, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Tullos Mooney, to whom he was married for 44 years; two brothers, Woodrow Mooney and Turney Mooney; one great-grand child, Eliot Mooney. Survivors include one son, Ron and wife Sandra Mooney of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at the Primrose Methodist Church Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas.
