Leticia "Lety" Lucero

Beebe, AR, 1938 - 2010

Leticia "Lety" Lucero, 71, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born December 15, 1938, in Manila, Philippines, and she died Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Lety owned and operated the Bankok House in Beebe for over 10 years. She was instrumental in helping her daughter, Yolly, start her own restaurant, Chopsticks, which is now called Chopsticks International Center and also helped her son start his own restaurant, the Lotus Blossom. Lety made many friends over the years in the restaurant business and will be missed greatly by her family and acquaintances.
She is survived by her mother, Felicisima Castro of Beebe; special companion Rodney Winton; daughter, Yolly Seedtibood and husband Tic of Jacksonville; three sons, Sermsak Seeboonruang and wife Busaba of Stuttgart, Lertsak Seeboonruang of Las Vegas, Nevada and Saklert Seeboonruang of Thailand; five grandchildren; one brother, Guillermo Villegas of Beebe; and three sisters, Emma Lucero of Beebe, Edith Thompson of Jacksonville and Corozon Vilisan of Jacksonville.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, North Little Rock, with burial in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
