Emma Jean Clark

Emma Jean Young Clark of Sheridan, Ark., was born Jan. 28, 1932 in Sheridan, the daughter of the late Bal William and Doyle Edna Stephens Young. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church at Sheridan, had retired from Kohler and in recent years, worked part time at Brew Heaven restaurant. Emma Jean died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 at Arkansas Heart Hospital at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Junior Clark and brothers, Carthel and Claude Young. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Tammy Clark and Gary and Lisa Clark, all of Sheridan; brother, Dorman Young of Little Rock; sister, Pauline Clark of Sheridan; grandchildren, Jessica and husband Jake Simmons, Erin Clark, Colton Duke, and Addison Duke. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Brad Warren and Bro. Gary Copeland officiating. Burial will follow in Center Grove Cemetery.
