Ellis Edgar "Mush" Williams, Jr., 83, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 5th, 2010. He was born May 8th, 1927 in Carlisle, Arkansas to Ellis E. Williams, Sr. and Etta Mae Daniels Williams. Mush was an avid outdoorsman and served in the Army. He was devoted to his family and friends including his lifelong friend Basil Newton. He was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church, 32nd degree Mason England Lodge and local 155 plumbing and pipefitters. Mush was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Tom and Bob Williams and a son-in-law Paul Pate. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Billie Jean Broyles "Mama" Williams. He is also survived by three sons: James Ralph and his wife Becky of Hope, Arkansas, Charles Gibson and his wife Donna of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Ellis E. "Bubba" Williams III and his wife Glea of England, Arkansas; three daughters: Rena Pate, Peggy Stuckey and Patricia Abbate and her husband Joseph all of England, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mush and Billie were Daddy and Granny to a grand-daughter Meredith Strohl. Funeral services will be Friday, October 8th, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Roller England Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, October 7th, 2010 from 6-8 p.m., Bro. David Jimerson and Bro. Larry Williams will be officiating. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Arkansas.
