Donald Ray Ware

Donald Ray (Doc) Ware, age 72, passed away Friday. He was a heavy equipment operator and construction worker. He was Fire Chief of Greers Ferry for 14 years and member of Local 9 Operating Engineers of Denver, Colorado. He is survived by his former wife Willie Dean Ware of Heber Springs, two sons Charlie and wife Beth of Greers Ferry and Don and wife Kitty of Greers Ferry, one brother Ony Ware of Clinton, two nephews, Shawn of Clinton and Terry of Indiana and niece, Sherry Sanders of Searcy, eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Nicole, Allen, Shannon, Chris, Heather and Billy and a special friend Ann Riles. Visitation Sunday 5 to 8 p.m., Greers Ferry Missionary Baptist Church and Funeral Service Monday, 2 p.m., Brewer Church with interment in Brewer Cemetery.
