Donald Eugene Smith, 79, of Wynne died Friday in Wynne. Survivors are his wife, Vernell Brown Smith of Wynne; sons, Donald E. Smith Jr., Benjamin W. Smith both of Newport, Bill R. Miller of Florida; Jim L. Miller, Cordova; Thomas C. Miller, Illinois; Gerald Brown, Jonesboro; daughters, Marilyn B. Holden, Newport; Linda B. Voigt, California; Lisa B. Stutts, Wynne; sister, Mary L. (Doc) Smith, St. Louis; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Services are Tuesday, 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Wynne, burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport, Ark. Visitation Monday, 6 to 8, Kernodle Funeral Home.
