Larry Tony Dedmon

Mr. Larry Tony Dedmon, 64, of Tuckerman departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born on March 1, 1946 in Tuckerman, the son of Ms. Jo Rae Dedmon. Mr. Dedmon was a graduate from AMandM in Pine Bluff. He was employed with the Department of Human Services for 34 years and a member of the Calhoun Street Church of Christ. He enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, cooking, and politics. Mr. Dedmon was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Rae Dedmon; one brother, Robert Dedmon; and his grandparents, Ray and Myrtle Dedmon. He leaves behind one sister, Barbara Nelson and husband Drew of St. Louis; three aunts, Linda Hardin of Tuckerman, Alice Stephenson of Newport, and Hazel Newton of Little Rock; one uncle, Mark Dedmon of Pennsylvania; a close cousin, Ronnie Dedmon of Little Rock; and one niece, Mya Easaw of St. Louis. Funeral services will be 11 Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Dillinger Funeral Home with interment in New Hope Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010 from 6-8.
