Ouida Bob Wilson

Ouida Bob Ashcraft Wilson, age 64, of the Herbine Community near Rison, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at her home. She was born June 2, 1946 in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Leroy Houston Ashcraft and Liddie Mae Phillips Ashcraft. Mrs. Wilson was reared and received her early education in Rison, graduating from Rison High School in 1964. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Allen Dale Wilson on June 27, 1964. Mrs. Wilson worked many years as a garment factory employee. Most recently she worked as a substitute teacher at Rison High School. She enjoyed camping, reading and working puzzles. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Bethel Number Two Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Allen Dale Wilson of Herbine; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jeanette Wilson of Herbine; daughter and son-in-law, Paige and Scott Morrison of Rison; five grandchildren, Justin Allen Wilson, Christopher Levi Wilson, Jared Alan Wilson, Nicholas Stewart Wilson and Jaelle Paige Morrison; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Grady Kimbrell of Pine Bluff, Betty Jean and Bill Taylor of Herbine; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald Lee and Renee Ashcraft of Long Beach, California, Houston and Pat Ashcraft of Pansy, Phillip and Regina Ashcraft of Pine Bluff; mother-in-law, Patsy Brown Wilson of Woodlawn. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Thursday October 14, 2010 at Bethel Number Two Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Wade Peddy and Brother Wade Totty officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Buie Funeral Home.
