Bobbye Jeter Elliott, age 85, of Little Rock, died on October 11, 2010. She was born in Wabbaseka, Ark. on May 13, 1925 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Elliott Jeter. After graduating from Wabbaseka High School, she entered Arkansas State Teachers College where she earned her degree in Education. She taught in the Crossett and Bryant School Districts before retirement. Bobbye enjoyed fishing, fine arts, horse races and the occasional trip to the casino. She was an avid Razorback fan and was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Bobbye is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hainley of Little Rock, her son, Tom Elliott and his wife, Billye of McGhee, Ark., grandson, James Elliott Hainley of Miami, Fla., granddaughter, Lori Jones of Whitehall, Ark. and great-grandchildren, Conner and Anna Jones. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hudgens Jeter and William Shelby Jeter and sister, Katherine Ivey. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Reception Room at Ruebel Funeral Home.
