Lola Louise Guthrie

Lola Louise Guthrie, formerly of Hope, died October 12, 2010. She was born July 30, 1911, in Newton County to John Henry and Emma Dixon Hill. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Cecil F., sons, Kermit and Kenneth, granddaughter, Jill Low, brothers Charles, William and Ras Hill, sisters, Millie Bolin, Nancy Hitchock and Vergie Glover. She is survived by daughters, Betty (Gordon) Beasley of Conway and Barbara (Ruskin) Teeter of Krum, Texas, five grandchildren, Alan and Dale Guthrie of Jacksonville and Hot Springs, Teresa Dougherty of McCalla, Alabama, Christopher Teeter of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Stacy Soltis of Marietta, Georgia, 10 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, two nieces and five nephews. A private graveside service was held at Bellefonte Cemetery near Harrison. She was a member of Quitman Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
