Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Dunn

Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Dunn, age 52, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2010 in Kansas City, Mo. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, 1902 Hwy. 65 S., Clinton, Ark. with burial to follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Scotland, Ark. Kathy was born January 28, 1958 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Garry and Mary Owens. She was married to Mr. Alvin L. Dunn on July 5, 1985 in Kansas City, Kan. She went on to earn her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. Most recently Kathy was employed with BWR Corporation as a Proposal Manager. In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed crocheting and painting clay pottery. Kathy and her husband, Alvin were both long-time members of First Family Church of Overland Park, Kan. She is survived by her husband, Alvin, her children Tina (Randy) Turner, Tonya Dunn Swink, and Stephanie (Keith) Monsivaiz, grandchildren, Christian, Tyler, Dakota, Ashley, Krystal, and Alvin Turner; Cody Leann Walley, Judy and Shelly Swink; and Vivian and Vincent Monsivaiz; her brother Garry L. (Bleeka) Owens, and her parents Garry W. and Mary E. Owens. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, James and Viola Dunn, her sister-in-law, Linda (Lynn) McFadden, brother-in-law, Calvin (Sandy) Dunn, and brother-in-law, Larry (Vanessa) Dunn, and many nieces and nephews. Kathy's family wishes to thank the staff of Kansas City Hospice House for their support and care during the final days of her 11-year battle with cancer.
