Anna Lou Varner Nicholson

ANNA LOU VARNER NICHOLSON, age 80, of Little Rock passed away Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010. She was born Oct. 16, 1929 in Little Rock, Ark. She was a member of Markham Street Baptist Church in Little Rock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, "Nick"; one grandchild Brent Nicholson; and three great-grandchildren Kaden, Evan and Finley Nicholson. Survivors include one son, Jan Nicholson and wife, Trulie of New Iberia, Louisiana; one daughter, Nicki Tuttle and husband, Frank; six grandchildren Barrett, Blake, Brandon and Blane Nicholson and Leslie and Andrea Mooney; and four great-grandchildren Lillian, Henry, Malise and Laiken Nicholson. A private burial will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park under the direction of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) in Benton. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010 at 3: p.m. at the Markham Street Baptist Church, 9701 Markham Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72205.
