Yet Sin Yee

Yet Sin Yee, age 106, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2010. Born in Canton, China, on December 8, 1903, she was preceded in death by her husband Don Wong. She came to the United States in 1957. Her time was divided between living with her son in Cincinnati and a daughter in Little Rock. She settled in San Francisco in 1977, where she lived alone until an illness required her to move to Little Rock in 2005 and was under the attentive care of her loving family. Her most treasured moments were playing her favorite game, mahjong, with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family would like to extend sincere thanks to Drs. Brad Baltz and Rhonda Gentry of Hematology/Oncology Services of Arkansas, their caring staff, and the wonderful caregivers on 10A of Baptist Health. Survivors include daughters, BoBo Lee of Little Rock, Huang Pei Hua of Rodeo, California; a son, Ton Wong of Cincinnati, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, (501) 224-8300, with a family visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 901 N. University Avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207-6354.
