Luther JR Kuykendall

Luther JR "Butch" Kuykendall, 67, of Lakeview, Arkansas died Saturday, October 9, 2010 in Okeechobee, Florida He was born in Osceola, Arkansas on July 18, 1943 the son of James Luther and Willie Ruth (Burgess) Kuykendall. He was a retired telephone technician. Butch served for four years in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban crisis. He is survived by his wife, Parilee "Barb" (James) Kuykendall of Lakeview; son, William Kuykendall of Batesville; sister, Mary Kuykendall York of Pleasant Plains; step-children: Karen Dayer of Conway, Sherry Lewis, also of Conway, and Ronnie Gordon of Bald Knob; and grandchildren: Jackson Kuykendall, Blake Davis, Holly Dayer, Lindsey Dayer, Stephanie Dayer, Brian Lewis, Michelle Lewis, Candace Gordon, Coy Gordon, Brooke Johnson and Chad Johnson. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Kuykendall, and a brother, Victor Kuykendall.
