Edward L. Holloway, 93, of Little Rock departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at LR Veterans' Administration Medical Center. He was a member of St. Peter's Rock Baptist Church, a WWII veteran, and a retired brick mason. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and 14 of his 15 siblings. Survivors are his son, Edward Holloway Jr. (Clara) of Denver, Colorado; daughters, Carolyn Allen of Irving, Texas, and Constance Rodgers of Little Rock; one brother, Eugene Holloway of East St. Louis, Illinois; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 25, at St. Peter's Rock, 22nd and Brown. Services entrusted to GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Your Entrance to Eternity" 2405 South Gaines. Open visitation and viewing will be from noon- 5 p.m., Sunday, October 24, at the funeral home, 376-7188.
