Bobby Joe Boyd, age 62, died Oct. 30, 2010. He was born August 30, 1948 in DeWitt to David Burley and Pearl Boyd, who preceded him in death. Bobby Joe was a farmer and member of First Methodist Church. Survivors include his son and his wife, Joe David and Stephanie Boyd of Hensley; two stepsons, Paul Blumhorst of Conway, Butch Blumhorst of Hazen; three brothers, Eugene, David Richard and James Boyd all of DeWitt; one sister, Shirley Perry of DeWitt. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at Chute Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
