WILLIAM ANDREW COLLINS, 61, of Maumelle passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 22, 2010. He was born and raised in Camden, Ark., and graduated from Camden High School in 1967. He was a graduate of SAU in Magnolia and was the first in his family to do so. He retired from Weyerhaeuser after 30 plus years of service. He was the proud father of PFC Mack Collins, of the Arkansas National Guard. He was an avid golfer and regularly played at Maumelle Country Club. He is survived by his wife, of 22 years, Gloria (Keith) Collins, of Maumelle; his father, Mack Collins, of Atlanta, Texas; mother-in-law, Helen Keith, of Fort Smith, Ark.; a brother, Charles Collins and wife, Jodi, of Texarkana, Ark.; four sisters, Cathy Conrad and husband, Roger, of Atlanta, Texas, Becky Wood and husband, Larry of Atlanta, Texas, Teresa Collins, of Atlanta, Texas, Louise Nelson and husband, Barry, of Abbeville, S.C.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Collins. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1009 Wolfe St., Little Rock, Ark., 72202. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Steephill Cemetery in Fort Smith, Ark.
