DONALD A. MCNAIR, 65, of North Little Rock arrived in heaven Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010. He was born in Scott, Ark., on Dec. 21, 1944 to the late Walter and Lina Fleming McNair. He was a member of Scott United Pentecostal Church and was a retired self-employed bricklayer. Donald was an avid coon hunter and chuck wagon racer, and he was a fast pitch softball pitcher in his youth. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo; two sisters, Helen and Lalafay; and one nephew, Kenny Wayne. He is survived by his son, Brian Allen McNair (Mona); two grandchildren, Brianna and Rachel; two brothers, Bill (Sammie) and Louis (Jannette); two sisters, Ida (Bill) and Sue (Joe); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family wishes to say a special "thank you" to the doctors and nurses at Arkansas Hospice. Memorials may be made to Scott United Pentecostal Church Building Fund, 201 Mitcham, North Little Rock, Ark., 72117. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Scott United Pentecostal Church. Burial will be in Keo Cemetery.
