Donald Russell Moats

DONALD RUSSELL MOATS, 84, went to be with his wife Marion in Heaven on Oct. 23, 2010. He was born Feb. 26, 1926 in Joy, Ark. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He is survived by his girls, Mary Gosvener, Donna Logan, and Pam (Denny) Zulpo, all of Roland, Ark.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters Lorene Turpin of Kensett, Ark.; Wanda Nix of Heber Springs and a very special nephew, Dean (Dorthy) Palmar of Kensett, Ark. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the VA Hospital wing 5-D, for their service and dedication to Mr. Moats. We would like to express our thanks to our Daddy for all the love and support he has given each of us through the years. Thank you for being the world's greatest Daddy. We love you. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the home of Donald Moats at 25124 Blue Gill Lane, Roland 72135. Burial will be in Kennerly Cemetery.
