Robert Schwager

Robert Schwager, known to most people as Bob, was born July 15, 1944 in Dallas, Texas, to the late Lawrence W. and Helen Schwager. He died Oct. 22, 2010, after a lengthy liver and kidney transplant illness. He was 66. Bob is survived by children: a daughter, Ana Schwager, of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Allen Schwager, of Arlington, Tenn.; a daughter, Jill Schwager, of Seoul, South Korea; and the mother of his children, Lee Schwager, of Little Rock, Ark. Bob graduated from East Texas State University with a Political Science Degree and spent all of his working life as a steel salesman. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and of course, the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a member of Robinson and Center Church of Christ. A memorial service will be Tuesday, October 26, 1 p.m., in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Online guest book: www.rollerfuneralhomes.com. Jimmy Coots, longtime friend, said of Bob "I never knew a person who didn't like Bob. He will certainly be missed." The family wishes to thank the UAMS Liver Transplant Team and Nurses, Salem Place Team, Jane Evans and Jimmy Coots for all the wonderful care given to Bob. Memorials can be made to Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Agency or Birch Tree Communities in Clinton, Ark.
