Hershel Carrol Coffman

Hershel Carrol Coffman, age 75, of Bryant, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2010. He was born March 18, 1935 in Pettus, Arkansas. Mr. Coffman was a retired truck driver and a member of Walnut St. Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert S. and Euna F. Coffman; two wives, Charlotte Coffman and Joyce Coffman and six siblings, twins Bois and Lois, Fayborn, Albert and Herman Coffman and Sue Johnson. He is survived by his daughter, Tina Harris of Jacksonville; step-daughter, Dee Baughtman of Benton; five brothers, Clyde Coffman of Benton, Mike Coffman of Lonoke, Tommy Coffman of Benton, Dempsie Coffman of Russellville and Jackie Coffman of Valdez; four sisters, Carol Ann Addie of Scott, Cathy Smith of Carlisle, Venessa Ford of Austin and Sylvia Pate of Enola and seven grandchildren, Ashlen, Jacob, Jayden, Charlotte, Kaylene, Haylee and Ethan. Pallbearers will be Mike Coffman, Dempsie Coffman, Douglas Baughtman, Justin Ford, Gary Paul Ford and Ben Ford. Honorary pallbearer will be Donald Addie. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 27 at Ashby Funeral Home.
