Rudy Michael Lawrence

Rudy Michael Lawrence, 63, of Bryant, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and brother left his temporary home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 25, 2010. He was a kind and generous man loved by many. He was a member of Western Hills Methodist Church where he loved to play in the church league softball tournaments for many years. He devoted his entire life to providing for his family and giving them unconditional love. He was preceded in death by his loving Uncle and Aunt, Claude and Carole Wheeler; his dear loving brother Randy Shipley; and his stepfather A.J. Shipley. He is survived by his loving devoted wife of 43 years Mary Catherine Lawrence; three sons, Eric Michael, and daughter-in-law, Laura Lea; Matthew Scott and Ryan Patrick; and three grandchildren; his mother, Marilyn Shipley; his sisters, Lucy Hunze, Euleta Bleche, and Brenda Fishback; his brothers, Jack Shipley, Kevin Shipley and Marvin Shipley. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, October 29 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Friday, October 30 at Ashby Funeral Home.
