Deborah Denise Swope

Deborah Denise Swope, 45 of Little Rock, passed away October 25, 2010. She was Arkansas' New Year Baby when she was born January 1, 1965 to Virginia McKellips and Jim Butler in Little Rock. Debbie spent her life making a home for her loved ones. She enjoyed listening to music and working on cars. She was an avid golfer who spent time traveling with her husband golfing at various courses in the United States. Debbie loved to visit the mountains and beaches. She was a member of Country Club of Arkansas. Debbie loved animals, especially her dog, Dakota Blue, who will miss her deeply. Debbie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Billy; her children, Jack and Zachary Prater of Ferndale; her mom and dad, Virginia and Larry McKellips; her brothers, Lance (Beth) McKellips of Holland, John (Theresa) McKellips of Holland; her stepsons, Jeremy Stafford, Tim Swope; her granddaughter, London Delainey Prater; her grandfather, Lawrence McKellips, Sr.; her Brother in law, Rick (Sharon) Hughey; her Mother in law, Jean Roach; four nieces, two nephews and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her endearing smile. Visitation will be from 6-8p.m., Friday, October 29, at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home.
