Lorene Joan Dussex Kordsmeier, age 79 of Morrilton, Arkansas peacefully entered into eternal life on October 26, 2010. She was welcomed home by her beloved husband, Herb, who preceded her in eternal life on January 1, 2010. She was born February 7, 1931 in Conway, Arkansas, the second of three children born to Chris and Agnes Dussex. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Thomas Dussex and sister, Florence Kordsmeier. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in Conway, Arkansas as valedictorian of her class. She was employed at JC Penney in Conway before her marriage. She was married to the love of her life, the late Herbert Joseph Kordsmeier, Sr., for 56 years. Her greatest accomplishments were her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory include her five sons and five daughters, Herbert Joseph (Denise) Kordsmeier, Jr. of Morrilton, Albert (Kyla) Kordsmeier of Morrilton, Chris Kordsmeier of Morrilton, Danny (Merinda) Kordsmeier of Conway and Eric (Carly) Kordsmeier of Dallas, Texas, Marian (Danny) Eades of Conway, Alma (Rick) Duvall of Morrilton, Jackie (Matt) Elsinger of Conway, Angie (Gary) Horne of Conway, Brenda (Roger) Wilson of Morrilton, 30 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She served as a loving mother not only to her 10 children, but also to countless others. She spent her entire life as an unselfish and devoted caregiver to her father, Chris Dussex, her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for 56 years and a strong supporter of Sacred Heart School. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Altar Society. Although she was petite in stature, she showed great inner strength which carried her and her family through whatever crosses the family had to bear. Her hands were never idle. She loved to cook, garden, play bingo and write words of encouragement and inspiration. She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered for her generosity, kindness, friendly nature, and strong Christian faith. The family would like to thank Dr. Koone, his nurse Janet Hall, Dr. Westerfield and staff at Morrilton Medical Clinic, Healthcare Pharmacy, Nicholle Williams and Meals on Wheels for their kindness, patience and special care.
