Roger Dale Burchfield, age 57, of Bismarck died Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at his home. Roger was born April 24, 1953 to the late Joe and Maxine King Burchfield. He was employed with Arkansas Highway Department in Little Rock, served as an assessor in Hot Spring County for several years, was a avid drummer and musician, and was a Taekwondo instructor and teacher in the Malvern and Arkadelphia area for many years.
Survivors include one son, Chance Burchfield of Bismarck, Ark.; one daughter, Crystal Carey of Bismarck, Ark.; five grandchildren, Cole, Hannah, Dayton, Jayce and Rylee; one brother, Larry Burchfield of Ashdown, Ark. and one sister, Brenda Sutton of Alaska.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 31st at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Gary Glidewell officiating. Interment will be in Dillard Cemetery near Pt. Cedar.
