Hazel Kirby Pierce, 94, of Sherwood passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010. She was born November 28, 1915 in Halls, Tennessee to Royal Hale and Aussie Lee Hines Kirby. She was a charter member of Sylvan Hills Church of Christ and involved in Dorcas House Ministry at the church.
She is survived by two sons, Mickey Pierce, of Sherwood and Dwight Pierce and wife, Dorothy, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Vien, of Sherwood and brother, Finis J. Kirby, of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Pierce.
Memorials may be made to Dorcas Ministry, Sylvan Hills Church of Christ, 9305 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
