J.B. Schmitz

J.B. Schmitz, 84, of Beebe, died Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. He retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad after working 48 years. He joined the Navy in 1944, and worked in the Pacific building a Navel repair station. J.B. is survived by his wife, Carolyn Schmitz, of Beebe; one son, John, Jr., of Beebe; two daughters, Gail Sanders of Lonoke and Joyce Moody of Beebe; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Burrow. Family will receive friends on Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m at Westbrook Funeral Home.
