Norah McDaniel Sr.

NORAH McDANIEL SR. of Little Rock, Ark. departed this life on Oct. 27, 2010. He was born in Mount Holly, Arkansas to the late Will and Allie McDaniel. He was a retired journey roofer at Ketcher Roofing Company for over 45 years. He's survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Greenwood McDaniel; two daughters, Sandra Faye Johnson (Vernon) and Karen McDaniel White both of Little Rock, Ark.; seven sons, William Meadows (Betty) of Dallas, Texas, Darryl McDaniel (Linda) of Grand Prairie, Texas., Norah McDaniel Jr., of Jacksonville, Ark., Danny McDaniel Sr., of Little Rock, Ark.., Stanley McDaniel (Lillie) of Dallas, Texas., Terry McDaniel (Marla) of Little Rock, Ark., and Bruce McDaniel (Shirley) of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Melvin McDaniel Sr. of Mount Holly, Ark.; sisters, Ester May Childress of Mount Holly Ark., and Katherine Jones of Flint, Mich.; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other loving relatives and special friends. Home going services will be Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, 11 a.m., at Greater 3-4 Missionary Baptist Church, 911 West 19th St. Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery. Family visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St. LR (501) 372-1305.
