SHARON J. ELFSTROM, 73, of Little Rock, Ark. passed away Oct. 27, 2010 after a courageous battle with ALS. She was born Sept. 23, 1937 in Fort Wayne, Ind. to Earl and Mary Jane Milller. Preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, William G. Elfstrom, She is survived by her three children, Larry, Lee and Chris; her granddaughter, Carrie Tullos (Josh); her great-granddaughter, Grace; brothers John and Dan Miller; and one sister, Nancy Morris. She was a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church and worked for over 21 years at Arkansas Otolaryngology Center. She was an avid sports fan, excelling in golf and bowling. Anyone that knew Sharon knew that her love of the Fighting Irish was surpassed only by her love for her family. She made every occasion special, in particular Thanksgiving and Christmas, her favorite holiday. Everyone that knew her loved her and she will be incredibly missed. The family would like to thank Dr. Kimberly Curseen and the staff at UAMS and Barbara Marlar, her main caregiver, for the loving care they gave our mother during these last months. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 12th St., in Little Rock, Ark. Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4000 N. Rodney Parham Rd. in Little Rock.
