JB Evatt

JB Evatt, 84, of Little Rock, born March 30, 1926, in Lonoke, Ark., passed away on August 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Emogene Miller Evatt, his parents, Carl Ezra Evatt and Lucy Goggans Evatt, two brothers, Erlie Leonard Evatt and Elmer Everett Evatt, and one sister, Mary Edith Evatt Beliew. He is survived by his son, JB Evatt II, and one granddaughter, Anna Rachael Evatt, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. In his working career, he was an automobile mechanic, a machine operator and foreman in the paper box industry for McMillan-Bloedel, and retired as a transformer repairman for Multi-State Electric.
