Kim Elder Easterly, 53, of Sheridan left his earthly life on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant after a short battle with cancer. He was a licensed boiler operator, most recently employed by UAMS until his illness in July, and a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan. He was preceded in death by his dad, twin brother, Jimmy Easterly and brother, Toney Easterly, and his grandparents, William D. and Coy Harper Easterly and William B. and Ruby Caldwell Elder. Survivors include his mother, Lois Easterly Plunkett (Rommey), brother Wayne Easterly (Debbie) of Pine Bluff and sister Judi Easterly Castleberry (Donnie) of Camden; nieces, Stephanie Easterly of Pine Bluff, Stacy Easterly of Houston and Bethany Castleberry Rutledge (Adam) of Fayetteville.
