Mary Isabel Hanna Finnell

Mary Isabel Hanna Finnell of Little Rock, passed away September 1, 2010. She grew up in El Dorado and graduated from El Dorado High School in 1952. Following high school, she graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Baylor College of Physical Therapy, and Southern Methodist University with a Masters in Fine Arts. Isabel was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Before retiring she was Director of Physical and Occupational Therapy at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Isabel enjoyed traveling, the piano, Scottish and English country dancing, reading, and all of the arts. She was devoted to her family. Mary Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Hilery E. Hanna of El Dorado and her son, Charles Albert Finnell of El Dorado. She is survived by her husband, Joe Charles Finnell; son and daughter-in-law, Fergus Wayne Finnell and McLees Baldwin of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Sara Booker Finnell; brother, Albert Rowell Hanna; sister and brother-in-law, Joy and W. Sidney Sugg; nephew, H.E. Hanna, all of El Dorado; nephew, William Sidney Sugg, Jr. of Seattle, Washington; niece, Janet Hanna Metcalf of Yuma, Arizona; and devoted caretaker, Minnie Springer of El Dorado. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, September 3, 2010 at Woodlawn Cemetery in El Dorado, Arkansas with Dr. Dan Loomis officiating.
