Ken Proctor

Ken Proctor, a lifelong resident of Wynne, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 2, 2010, at his home. He was born, March 31, 1950, in Wynne, Arkansas, the son of the late Herbert Everett and Virginia (Montgomery) Proctor. He married, Miss Suzanne Ray, December 9, 2007. Mr. Proctor was a member of the Wynne Baptist Church, he earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and was a Past President of Wynne Chamber of Commerce and the Wynne Rotary Club. Ken was owner and agent of State Farm Insurance Company in Wynne. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, yard work, gardening, water skiing, singing gospel music and spending time with his family and friends. Ken is survived by his wife: Suzanne Proctor, one son: Kyle Proctor and his wife Begina of Cabot, Arkansas, one daughter: Kelly Proctor of Jonesboro, Arkansas, two step-sons: Robert Dixon of Cabot, Arkansas, Jared Dixon of Cabot, Arkansas, one step-daughter: Olivia Dixon of Cabot, Arkansas, two brothers: Doug Proctor of Alfaretta, Georgia and Richard Proctor of Wynne, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Kurt Gross of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Taylor Proctor and Landon Proctor, both of Cabot, Arkansas. Funeral services will be conducted, Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Thompson-Wilson Wynne Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cogbill Cemetery.
