Betty E Norman

Betty E. Norman, 86, Benton was called to be with the Lord Aug. 31, 2010, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born March 9, 1924, in Bloomingdale, N.J., to the late Robert and Clara DeVourney. Betty was a Cadet Corp Nurse during WWII and worked as a registered nurse for her entire life. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kenneth J. Norman. She is survived by her children, Delmar Whritenour and wife, Joan, Karen Iozzio and husband, Pete, all of New Jersey, Kathi Onaday and husband, Bart of Washington, Ken Norman and wife, Rhonda of Benton; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sept. 7, at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church at 6 p.m. with Bro. Bob Wiegel officiating. Cremation was through Ashby Funeral Home.
