Edna May "Eddy" Whitlock

Edna May "Eddy" Whitlock, age 94, of Hobe Sound, Fla., died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Fla. She was born in Harrisburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Alfred Maglauchlin and the late Mary (McKinley) Maglauchlin. Eddy was an artist with training at the Chicago Institute of Art. She traveled the country proclaiming to have lost a hub cap in every state. She settled in Little Rock, Ark., and married Elvy Franklin Whitlock "Big Frank", a WWII decorated Veteran. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Daley) Reeder of Hobe Sound, Fla., and Cindy (Whitlock) Moore of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; three sons, Neal Daley of Little Rock, Ark., Elvy Franklin Whitlock Jr. of Dallas, Texas, and Robert Brian Whitlock of Dallas, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Diane, Karen, Sherry, Neal Jr., Tammy, Carole, Candice, Katherine, Sydney, Preston and Ian; three great-grandchildren, Landon, Noah and Lilybelle. Eddy relocated to Hobe Sound, Fla., and has been a resident for 19 years. She will be interned with her late husband "Big Frank" at a future date at the Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark. Services will be held by Danny Burleson.
