EVELYN LAYNE, 76, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 01, 2010. She‘s survived by six children, Tyree (Patricia), Elvenia, Tyrone, Tyrell (Tara), Diana (Kirk), Jordan and Evelyn; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Evelyn Layne's life will be Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, 11 a.m., at Morning Star Baptist Church, 2nd and Smothers, North Little Rock, Ark. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 South Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
