Alta May Wilson Dennis

Alta May Wilson Dennis, 75, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at St. Bernards. She was born May 28, 1935 in Mayflower to the late Willie and Hazel Wilson. She was a homemaker and had attended First Baptist Church of Cherokee Village before moving to Monette. Survivors include her husband, Walter Dennis Jr.; three sons, Jerry Dennis (Emma) of Tyler, Texas, Darrll Dennis (Brenda) of Paragould and Randy Dennis (Debbie) of Hardy; a daughter, Cheryl Wells (Dale) of Monette; a brother, George Wilson and a sister, Margaret Carlye both of Cabot; five grandchildren, Nikki Wells of Las Vegas, Nev., Heather Wells Stanley (Bryant) of Fayetteville, Zac Wells of Monette, James Dennis (Amanda) of Ozark, Mo., Victoria Dienst (Kenny) of Hardy; four great-grandchildren, Kadyn Dienst, Madison York, Dallas James Dennis, Jackson Lee Dennis. She was also preceded in death by several siblings. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette with Rev. Larry White officiating.
