Eloise Juanita Riles

Eloise Juanita Riles of North Little Rock, AR was born April 19, 1917, in England, Arkansas to Robert and Octavia Rufus. She departed this life on September 2, 2010. She attended Little Rock schools and graduated from Dunbar High School. Eloise retired from Arkansas Children's Hospital. She's preceded in death by three of her children: Shirley Mitchell, Evwaloni Tatum and Frederick Harrison. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Jessie Riles; children, John W. Harrison Jr., Dallis J. Gooden, Linnie V. Bradley (John), Carolyn L. Crumpton (Filton), Annice E. Harrison, Barry W. Harrison (Merrille), Debra A. Hawkins (Lonnie) and Timothy P. Harrison; her brother in law and sister in law, Robert and Zerita Harrison; 38 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Eloise was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Highland Park, Little Rock, Ark. where Rev. W.W. Walker is the pastor, and her funeral service will be there on Friday, September 10, 2010, 11 am. Family hour will be Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305.
